I’m getting all prepared for summer and you can never have too many cool sunglasses! Here are some nice looking sunglasses;

&Other Stories, bough the orange ones a few weeks back and I love them. The sunglasses from &Other Stories are great value for money, sturdy, good quality and for a good price.

Le Specs this super hip Australian brand can be seen on bloggers and celebrities such as Rihanna. There are loads of different varieties, classic sunglasses, more avant garde and futuristic models.

Sun Buddies is a Swedish brand, which have 8 models in various colorways. Super cool design and affordable price. These sunglasses are classic but in exciting colors.

Dresses for every occasion

Summer means graduation, weddings, garden parties and what not. Finding an appropriate dress might not always be so easy, as you have to consider the functionality and comfort of the dress. Bodycon dresses are popular, but would you feel comfortable in a squeezing, tight polyester dress during a humid and hot summer day, and is it appropriate? Thought so too, so here are some nice alternatives.

&Other Stories has a nice selection of minimalistic dresses in nice breathing fabrics. What I like about these dresses are that they are multi functional, dress up or dress down. My favorite is the printed dress, wear it with a pair of heels for a party, and dress it down with a leather jacket and loafers.

COS might not deliver summery dresses quite yet, most dresses are in darker color tones. These two though are fun and youthful dresses, a pair of nice heels and you are ready to party!

H&M has a really strong spring collection this year. They have a lot of nice dresses, I picked these three, the yellow lace and baby blue dress are my absolute favorite. The yellow dress is also festival appropriate, wear it with a pair of Stan Smith’s or sandals, add some nice jewelry, a hat and you are good to go.

Zara always have a great selection of dresses, but it is a risk to buy graduation dresses from there, as most likely somebody from your school will have the same dress. The last three dresses are really nice, the tweed one is very Alexa Chungish. The two longer dresses are great for weddings, as they go over the knee they are appropriate for church weddings.

Topshop didn’t quite convince me with their dresses, but these two were nice I thought. The black one is maybe a liiittle bit too revealing for a graduation dress but totally appropriate for a night on the town, just add a nice leather jacket.

New Look offers nice dresses for a good price. The black one is not relevant as it’s not a party dress, but in my eyes the perfect everyday dress and for 20€. Off shoulder is THE trend for this summer, and there’s something about this icy blue dress that I like.

Marimekko, okay not the cheapest selection of dresses but these are soo pretty! Imagine the maxi dress with the Kivet print, flowing in the summer wind and giving enough coverage for late nights. Love these!

Not so traditional office wear

Well, as I started my new work in February, I have been trying to make office wear a bit more fun. Most people perceive office clothes as a blouse and jacket and some kind of pants. Quite boring if you ask me. So I have been trying to personalize the “office look” to my liking and in order to show my personality through my clothing, which is very important to me. I see fashion as a fun thing, mix things up and think outside the box. What you are wearing tells quite a lot about yourself, but most importantly you really need to be comfortable in your clothes. I’m all about comfort! So here’s some outfits I compiled that I thought would be nice to wear to work;

This timeless pant suit from Banana Republic ( is a great piece to either dress up or dress down. I would match it with a plain white tee from Weekday and classic Old Skool Vans. If you need to dress it up, add a blouse or shirt underneath and a pair of patent leather shoes and your hair in a tight bun.

A more Parisian chic outfit for work, love this lambskin skirt from Lindex as it can be used for work or leisure time. The model is classic, short without being too short and easy to pair with a black, grey or white top, such as this black long sleeve from & Other Stores and long coat from Gina Tricot. And these shoes are everything, love the color blocking. Might have to place an order soon, also from & Other Stories. I think though that it is appropriate always to wear stockings to work.

Okay, these pants from H&M is everything. LOVE them. I bought them a month ago and I have used them since a bit too much. The grey color is perfect to pair with a light blue color, such as this shirt from Gant Rugger (the name is capri blue, ah!). Spice thing up with a pair of furry loafers from Boyy Copenhagen, which are not up everybody’s alley .

These striped pants from Banana Republic ( has been on my mind for a while, since they arrived to the showroom where I did my internship. The colors and fit of the pants is brilliant, and to dress them up, tuck in a nice twill denim shirt from Gant Rugger. I really like this leather jacket from Zara, even though it might not go as office wear, it goes as after work wear, hehe.

If you don’t want to dress up, but still office appropriate, a minimalist sleek look is the way to go. The dressed pants, college and t-shirt is from Weekday and shoes from Nike.

A bit more feminine look, dress from Gant Rugger, trench  and loafers from Zara and bag from Karl Lagerfeld ( I really like this dress a lot, such an easy garment to throw on when you have a clothing crisis.  And the bag, eye candy *heart eye emoji*.

Aaand a little trip back to the 70’s. I actually bough the suede jacket from Mango two weeks ago, can’t wait for the days to get warmer in order to use it. For a more experimental and fun office look, pair it with a striped shirt from Monki, pants from Weekday and shoes from & Other stories. Want to wear this look this spring!

The pants from H&M are so nice, had to use them twice. Here paired with a vest from H&M and t-shirt from Weekday. As you have probably noticed, bubblegum pink is THE color for autumn (Erhm Gucci AW16). Take a kick start with this lovely t-shirt, which btw looks nice with a little tan, and bring a little color to the overall grey scale in office clothing. The vest is super versatile, wear it with a white top underneath or for a more edgy look, wear it with a pair of leather pants.

Okay this might be more of a work-to-party look, haha, really liked the jumpsuit from Weekday. This silk bomber from Weekday satisfies my bomber-craving for this spring, not as masculine as the classic model. A fun bag to make the outfit more interesting, from Karl Lagerfeld ( and all black evil looking Birkenstocks.

Oh, another piece that I’ve been waiting for to hit the stores since the winter, this bright colored denim kimono from Lindex. Wear it with the belt or without, it is such a fun piece! Match it with a pair of blue jeans from Lindex and a pair of white Vans. This is quite casual but needed to show this kimono as it is so fab!

What do you think, is this office appropriate on a daily basis?

Stockholm shopping

So, there was still some sales in Stockholm and I actually made a deal with myself that I have to buy everything on sale if possible. I have soo much clothes, so I can’t fit anything unecessary in my closet, so I focused on basics.

From &Other Stories I bought a nice black blouse with dots on, think it paired with a pair of waxed- or leatherpants and boots + a hat. I’ve been looking for a similar for a while, and it was -50% so why not. I also bought a basic grey oversized sweater thay goes with basically anything. I also bought a supernice body mist, Morrocan Tea, that I of course forgot on the boat. 😦

As I’ve mentioned before many many times, I never find jeans. So, I’ve now discovered that Bik Bok sell jeans that fit me! These two are super stretchy and fits my figure well. The quality is not that great, but two pairs of jeans for 60€ is not a bad price. I have a pair with zips already from Zara, but they are beginning to fall to pieces. The other pair is waxed and high-waisted.

Last but not least, a pair of Janoski’s! I’ve been pending between a pair of Janoski’s or Adidas Gazelle for a while, and these were on -50% in Caliroots. These are perfect for spring, love the black leather!

I’m really happy with my purchases, nothing unecessary and classical pieces.

On Monday, we left Tallinn for Helsinki, and Helsinki for Stockholm. We got these crazy cheap cruise tickets to Stockholm, so together with our neighbours we spent a day in Stockholm.
It was awfully stormy on the first night on the boat, so after a painful awakening we took the metro to Östermalmstorg, and ate breakfast in a small café called Borgs Brödbod in Östermalms foodmarket. They have nice salads aswell!

After that, shopping of course! As we were quite tired, we didn’t have that much energy for shopping, but we did cover the stores that can’t be found in either Tallinn or Helsinki, e.g. Urban Outfitters, &Other Stories, Caliroots, Topshop, Footlocker etc.

I will show you what I bought on sale when I get home, we still have a 2 hour ferry ride back to Tallinn ahead of us. Ugh, can’t wait to get home! You know when you’ve been onboard on a rocking boat (6m waves..) so it feels still like everything is rocking when walking! Ugh!

Best of sales

Good morning! So, today is boxing day, which means CHRISTMAS SALES!!! Amazeballs, I’ve been looking through all my favorite webshops since I woke up, and I thought I’d make a summary of my favorites that are on sale! When shopping on sale, you should always look for classic staples or pieces that go according to trends or are usable during several seasons. Here are some of my favorites!

H&M – great sales on jackets, knits and Trend items! I have to check first out the store before ordering, as the shipping is so slow to Finland! I’ve been saving myself for the tuxedo jacket with small blue stones on it, yum!

Urban Outfitters – the sales wasn’t that good, there were no items that you really need for spring mostly sweaters. Nice jackets though.

Weekday – I need to raid the whole store.

Monki – reeaaally good sales, cheap and cheeky products! I’m gonna hit the store tomorrow.

Topshop – some nice items, not a lot of shoes on sales ( 😦 ) but you might find something. Pending on whether if I should order the khaki quilted jacket or not.

&OtherStories – not such great sales, but you may find some classical pieces and accessories for good prices. Some vans sneakers and nice bags on sale as well.

COS – if you don’t have a pea coat, then you need to visit COS, because this particular one is on sale for only 60€ which is a bargain. Nice dresses and sweaters as well but nothing mind blowing.

Asos – if you would like to waste your time looking through 130 pages of tops or dresses, be my guest. But there is though a lot of nice jackets and shoes on sale.

Caliroots – the best items you can find on sale is mainly Vans shoes and some streetwear items such as t-shirts and long sleeved shirts. Make sure to look through the unisex items aswell, the most interesting brands according to me is adidas Originals, HUF, Nike, Palace, Stüssy, Carhart and Black Scale.

Happy shopping!
